COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
Laredo is looking to the future with a resolve to diversify its economy, increase employment opportunities, celebrate its history and unique culture, improve the health of its residents, improve affordability, and upgrade its quality of life.
Plan Viva Laredo is a plan created through an inclusive, participatory public process that presents both grand vision and a practical plan to accomplish those goals. The plan was unanimously adopted by City Council on September 18th, 2017.

We've got the plan and vision for Laredo, now it's time to update our Land Development Code (LDC). This code sets the regulations and guidelines for how Laredo is built.
The City of Laredo will be working with the community from 2019 to 2020 to make this update a success. Join in the conversation!
